Who should get vaccinated?

Influenza:

Everyone above 6 months of age, including adults and children.

Shingles:

Adults after the age of 50, especially those with weakened immune systems due to disease or therapy.

TD/Tdap vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis):

Booster doses recommended for all adults. Essential during pregnancy and for wound management.

Pneumococcal:

Adults 65 and older and those aged 19-64 with specific risk conditions.

Typhoid (TCV) vaccine:

Individuals (older than 2 years) who are at high risk i.e. living in or traveling to typhoid endemic areas, professional food handlers, during outbreaks etc.

Rabies vaccine:

Anyone who has been scratched, bitten or licked on an open wound or mucosa (like the eyes, mouth, or nose) by a suspected rabid animal like a dog, monkey, cat, rat, etc.

HPV:

Teens and young adults aged 9-14, ideally before sexual activity. However, both females and males aged 15-45 can still benefit, as the vaccine protects against future HPV infections, even if they are already sexually active.
